 Our Gatineau operation employs more than 420 employes et is currently looking for a candidate prepared to bring their expertise and join a dynamic team in filling the following position:

 

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE PLANNER - LAURIER

 

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

The main focus of the position is to control work order quality and ensure that the work order management cycle is effective. The incumbent manages the mechanical maintenance and service planning system at the Laurier Plant.  He or she is the custodian of the work order process.

 

The incumbent plans mechanical team activities, which includes indirectly supervising unionized employees’ work in the Laurier Mechanical Maintenance Sector, as well as contractors under his or her supervision. He or she may be required to carry out the tasks of the mechanical supervisor from time to time.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical certificate in mechanical engineering or other planning experience.
  • Knowledge of the basic concepts of maintenance management.
  • Ability to manage unionized employees.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English.

 

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Organizational skills and sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Leadership and open-mindedness.
  • Bilingual (French, English).
